I’ve worked in a Y’all Mothacluckas Need Checkens American Flag Shirt grocery store when I was younger and the asshole customers were assholes from the moment they walked through the doors. Usually coming from work where I presume they’ve had a shit day. Through all the abuse I always tried to keep my calm by thinking that I actually feel sad for them; having so little going on in their lives that they choose to expend all that energy on a minor inconvenience and talking down to someone they know nothing about. Where I work, in more of a trade job. We have a customer that I told my manager to just take his equipment back and give him a refund because I don’t want to deal with him anymore. My manager didn’t want to do that because the owner wouldn’t accept that as an option.
