A lot of improvement was not with the coffee, but with how we prepared it. It’s amazing what happens when you clean the ever-loving fuck out of a coffee-machine that had never been cleaned. So we magically had 3 ancient Bunn coffee-machines that went from being on their last legs, to be able to actually bang out more coffee because everything was cleaned and working properly.
Thirdly – So it was figured, that if we poured some of the newly made-up coffee back into the filter area and swished it about with a spoon, everything got mixed, went into suspension and * magically** the coffee was both thicker and a bit tastier – properly speaking the coffee was in a more complete suspension.
