The vast majority of parents are not like that, but some really are fine with sending their kids to school sick. Some honestly don’t see an issue with it. I think we need to do something for parents with sick students, but sending sick kids to school to let them tough it out or because we have no other option is going to get people killed with COVID-19. And right now I’m worried about those parents who don’t see a problem with sending their sick kids to school like the one in my example, the example of a kid’s being given fever suppressants given by the comment I responded or the parents in the article.
