Really makes me wonder then, could the Witch King have been killed by an elf? Or dwarf? It specifically had to be a non-male human? Or was he just super-powerful and people thought he couldn’t be killed? Maybe it was a self-fulfilling prophecy “man behind the curtain” situations. He believed he was immortal but he hesitates when he learns Eowyn is female. And one of the hobbits was able to injure him. So how accurate was his immortal status or was it just all by coincidence?

Then again, the Witch King being told he would not fall to a man is a prophesied death that only cuts away a small portion of possible threats to his life (unlife?). He’d feel invincible when fighting men, but mice? Spiders? Badgers? They could kill him!
