Even so, he’s at peace with it; says his wife and “god” will forgive him. Wow. There’s a lot of assholes here who seem to think all ignorant people are willfully so. It’s not true. Some people aren’t very intelligent. Some people have a different base of information. And disinformation is a massive, collaborated effort from a lot of shitty people, including world leaders and members of the media.

Man, when I read these types of stories my first inclination is to say, “good, maybe more people will listen now”, but I think I’m over that thought process. It sounds like these were good people, and in those pictures, they seem to very happy together. They got lied to and it cost them their lives, both literally and figuratively. These guidelines are not coming from news networks. They’re coming from medical professionals. It is stupid to not listen to doctors and the CDC during a pandemic. And that stupidity has killed thousands of people and it continues to endanger many more. That’s why people don’t have much sympathy.
