Trump was a President for four years. The GOP never liked Trump; he was just a useful tool, now rusty and worn out. The GOP politicians will only justify their obsequity by saying he was the President at the time and they were just being loyal Americans. I can almost hear the pitter-patter of little rat feet now.

I don’t know that I give him better than even odds to even survive long enough to run after Biden’s first term. The dude is old, and really not in good health. He has nothing to stand on if he loses this election. If anything, he would be a thorn in the RNCs side if for some reason he committed to running for office.
