I couldn’t wrap my mind around the concept of a person (presumably a sith or some kind, or an acolyte of Palpatine) actually surveying the wreckage of the death star and saying to themselves “yep, this is the perfect spot to create an outline of the death star from, let me just sketch this really quick” and then FORGING A WEAPON IN THAT SHAPE. Instead of, you know, using a god damn GPS like anyone actually would. I can’t stand the last-things-first style of writing so many. These terrible movies rely on in order to create “cool” things that make zero sense. It’s kinda like LOTR two towers. But we skip all the Saruman behind the scenes stuff and the first time we see the Uruk-Hai is when they’re assembled before the tower. We’d be like “where did those come from?”. Easily avoided by a few minutes of exposition.
