I wish that churches focused more on sexual health. My youth group did a sex ed night every year; granted there was always some misinformation or myth (orgasms magically become better when you’re married for example) but not about the essentials. Ultimately I took way more good out of that than bad.o many of the Bible’s rules were about heath and safety. And that’s so incredible! How wonderful is it to have a God that cares about whether or not you get food poisoning!!! That regimented quarantine, decompression, and recovery for soldiers before coming home to their families!!!!our damn hands.

Why focus on “purity” instead of health? You can still advocate for abstinence in the process.Or… novel idea. Maybe talk about consent… I think I need to make a phone call to my pastor about all of the good that we are not doing on that front.OP, thank you for making this post.
