Since someone brought it up below I thought I should add these are not “totally” harmless. Perhaps “mostly” would have been a better word choice. It should go without saying but the 4 basic rules of gun safety always apply, even if you’re “only” shooting confetti. You could easily injure someone’s eyes or ears by pointing these at them, at the very least. Never point a gun at something you’re not willing to destroy, regardless of the load!

At the least each one of the morons should be charged with manslaughter. Each of them recklessly committed a crime by discharging a firearm into the air. And during a commission of this crime someone was killed. Need a lawyer to weigh in on my interpretation of this. But this could go a long way to get rid of idiots who are giving the responsible firearm owners a bad name.
