I had someone without a stop sign stop to wave someone with a stop sign to go. They were in front of me, so I thought they were parking, because why would you be stopping there if you didn’t have a stop sign, and I went to drive around them because I didn’t see them waving the person with the stop sign out until I was passing them and almost wrecking into the person they waved out. I swear every single person in texas doesn’t know how to work a four-way stop. EVERY single time I show up to the stop AFTER another person at the stop, they wave at me all hurriedly like I’m wasting their time or something….sir you were here first just go!

This this this!! I drive almost all day every day, and I have learned to fight these people by just sitting there. We can all get to the stop sign, I know EXACTLY when my turn is, and the person in front of me will wave me to go. I will just sit there and stare at them or just shake my head “no” until they go. I ain’t gonna cause some crash because some other person waiting thinks that it’s their turn because someone else was trying to be “nice”. On the road, it’s okay to be assertive.
