We clearly need some kind of revolution, but the left has democratically decided that Trump is a greater and more immediate existential threat than the wealth gap and lack of free universal healthcare. I’m not interested in debating the faulty logic there because it simply is what it is at this point. We can’t turn back time and make Sanders the nominee but we can elect Biden and drag him kicking and screaming to the left. They won’t let up. If we say that we want Bernie, it’s all, “he’s a terrible candidate that won’t win the nomination” and then if we say we’ll support Biden, the trolls will say that Biden won’t win. It’s a tactic to keep the left divided.
I don’t know if you’ve heard but there are down-ballot races. And midterms (I know a lot of y’all forgot about those according to the Justice Dems winning barely any of their races against moderate Dems). Vote in enough progressives (AOC, Talib, etc.) to give the progressive movement political power. That’s what I would like to see. It looks like Biden is going to coast into the nomination past scandal and progressive discontent. I can only hope he beats trump and the progressives continue to get seats to hold him accountable
