I think many of us side-eyed the schedule when we saw that Daytona was the cut-off race for the playoffs, but honestly what could possibly be a more exciting way to end the regular season? Seeing so many drivers fight for their first, playoff-clinching wins along with the mayhem that is Daytona I think is something that needs to stay. It’s essentially a crap shot that gives every driver one last chance to get in.
