Back around the time that the second edition of the Xbox 360 came out, my mother’s friend wanted to buy me something nice for Christmas. He told my mom that he wanted to buy me a game system since he knew I liked games, but he didn’t really know anything about them so he had no idea what to get me. So it turned out that he bought it off Craigslist and the guy who sold it to him took advantage of the fact that he wouldn’t know the difference between the two things.

My mom also knew nothing about games, so even though it was supposed to be a surprise, she directly came to me, told me about it, and asked what I wanted. I consider myself knowledgeable enough not to get ripped off but it was confusing as hell when my daughter asked for Fortnite and there is a physical game case with Fortnite on it.
