As a black comic book and comic book movie nerd, I can’t begin to express what Mr. Boseman’s portrayal of King T’Challa meant. Even with some of its flaws, I had never seen anything like Black Panther. What Mr. Boseman did as King T’Challa the Black Panther was nothing short of legendary. And now to know what he endured to bring the character and that world to life, makes it even more special.

I had never seen anything like Black Panther before in my life. It was a culture-changing role. I still remember the look of amazement my own daughters had while watching the film. That is exactly why representation matters! It’s inspiring! It’s culture-changing! From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Mr. Boseman. I pray for your family and I pray you are no longer in pain.
