But as far as hazard pay goes, if I have to get the extra money I’m certainly not going to turn it down. That said, I don’t feel like my company should be the ones paying me hazard pay. The government should be supplementing it. Why should my employer, who is already trying to provide electricity and natural gas to homes in tough times, have to pay the bill for that.
