I used to sneak into the manager’s office to turn it down to a barely perceptible level. One day I go in there.. and it’s all locked up in a big black box. NOOOOO. I had to listen to the fucking Titanic song on like an hourly basis too. I was the manager and I did turn the volume down after 8 pm rush hour… there was no need to keep that volume with no customers…

Back in the day, in December leading up to Christmas, you would regular music with a holiday song thrown in to mix it up. Then Christmas Eve there would be the uninterrupted spree of holiday songs. It was a great, fabulous way to celebrate. Then they made the whole week before Christmas uninterrupted holiday songs, then two weeks.
