I ever did from therapy. If anyone who reads this has seen benefit from therapy for depression, I’d love to hear your story, because for me it was a huge waste of time and money. Lastly, I’ve also been to therapy when I was especially depressed after the death of a close family member. Again, I would say it was essentially useless. It didn’t make me feel better – the only thing that made me feel better was time and spending more time with close friends/family. I think we need to just accept as a society that it is okay to be sad for a long time when your loved one dies and try to help each other out a bit more.
