Honey, I shrunk the kids was extremely popular when it came out and they put out 3 movies in the series. He was the main character in all three of them. Spaceballs wasn’t very popular but has gotten cult status. Ghostbusters was also very popular and had a sequel, but he wasn’t really one of the main characters.

By all accounts, Mr. Moranis is a gem of a human being. Bowed out of a very successful acting career when his wife suddenly passed to focus on his children. I don’t know much else of the fellow outside of his work, but that detail stuck with me. Why assault this decent guy?
