Middle-class parents who actually have more options outside of school want their kids back despite the teachers, school staff and over half of the other parents not wanting to go back. Administrators will be able to be isolated in their offices or still, wfh whole teachers are stuffed in a room with kids and still having to teach the kids that decided to stay home on the computer and then teach the kids who actually came into the school. Just a stupid decision to appease a minority group of parents who just happen to be the loudest.

Thank you! I teach at an underfunded urban school. Don’t use us to push going back to school as if you care about our kids. We have been underfunded for years. Our kids get fewer resources than districts around us but no one has ever cared. Let’s not pretend that people care now, and when we do return I doubt any of those people will do anything to make it more equitable.
