The thing that always bothered me about Back to the Future is did either adult Lorraine or adult George ever question why their son Marty turned out to look and act exactly like that boy they knew for several weeks in high school who suddenly just showed up in town seemingly on a mission to get them together, and oh yeah who also was named Marty and mysteriously wore Calvin Klein clothes 15 years before they’d ever heard that brand name again? And they didn’t know Marty as Marty in 1955, they knew him as Calvin. To them Calvin Klein wasn’t a brand in the 50s, it was just the guy’s name since it was written on his underwear. After all, who would wear underwear with another guy’s name on it?
