We could end homelessness tomorrow, fully fund every school, and guarantee social security for every citizen forever – if we had the political will. But if we continue having the same quality of people in control for the next 20-30 years. A lot of what you said will likely happen. And when it does – when social security is ended, unemployment hits a permanent 20%+. Nobody has a job or the money the support themselves – we’ll see similar catastrophic deflation and societal misery exactly as we did during the great depression.
