Am curious to see how this ends up. But the article says a lot but fails to put context into their statements. Like (around 20%) ethnic communities tend to not have bank accounts (as opposed to 3% white). But what is stopping them from establishing bank accounts? Banks and credit unions love taking money from people, regardless of skin color. Besides odd statements like that,
Like they are turned down by a big bank and then apply with Killer Mike’s bank and then they decide to give them the loan at a higher interest rate. I am just curious how this works, and what they will and could do differently. Money is green and does not care about your skin color. So I have to wonder what Black and Latino bank owners will do to change that?
