You get throttled if you are in the top X% of data users on your streets box or something, that’s how it was always explained to me from Virgin Media when my net would suddenly go limp. I just hope Comcast doesn’t add one to mine. I’ve never had one but I kinda feel like they will tack one on without notifying. Ugh.

The worst part about Xfinity getting rid of caps is that they don’t let you see how much data you used during the past few months. So even if we’re still quarantining we have to hope that we don’t go over the cap.
