I worked with the homeless, a lot you can help but a lot can’t be helped because they are not ever in the right mind to do so. A forced withdrawal with medical intervention and then a period of adjustment. Then they can choose to be better or not, for that are too far gone, they need permanent placement somewhere. Most that you see on the street are mentally unstable people or both. They didn’t always start that way but that is what they are now. Almost all homeless are not the family down on their luck or poor college students showed by the media as “making it”. As I said, a lot can be helped but it won’t be by choice.

. No amount of throwing money at them or two-week hotel stays can fix that, we need real solutions. if not, it will only get worse and the tax money needed to fix it. Will move away.Probably not a clear cut answer, but what do you do with people that don’t want help. They’d rather be drug-addicted savages that destroy everything they touch. If we can’t help them nor can we let them just roam free, what’s the solution not saying all homeless are like this and I’m not talking about people who are drug abuse is causing them to act like this, just genuine assholes who don’t want to change, not can’t.
