Oh wow, this takes me back (I’m old). When I was a kid I saw the original Grizzly. I was pretty young, way too young to see a movie like that, and it scared the living shit out of me. I would lay in bed at night and stare at my window thinking that every time a shadow moved it was a grizzly coming to rip me to pieces. I was terrorized, and it went on for a long time. If only someone had told me that grizzly bears don’t live in the desert. Although Clooney, Dern, and Sheen get their names flashed at the start of the trailer, they don’t actually appear in it. Makes me think they had only one or two scenes in it. Maybe they each get one line before the super bear ruins the music festival. I’d love to hear George Clooney pay good money to keep that movie in the can, but George isn’t crazy like Tom Cruise or some other Hollywood stars. He always seems like the type of guy who would actually put on a charity screening for laughs. There was a rash of grizzly bear movies it seemed to me when I was a kid in that era- even at 10 years old I was sick of them- no wonder.
