I was watching a show “secrets of the zoo” about the Columbus zoo. The episode had a black rat snake that had a large growth on it. The vet said that they couldn’t remove it because it was so entangled in the body structure. They sewed him back up and hoped for the best from the biopsies. That’s so sad, I was told by people at the zoo near me that they’re known for being really sweet and having distinct personalities.
