There’s plenty of women who inspires the true American spirit and fought for Liberty and Justice in their lifetime, sadly rarely acknowledged until way after their passing. We are lucky to be alive and to witness a true American Hero live to a ripe old age and be eternalized by her good deeds. Yes, but you’re missing the critical info that 1) she was accepted by the old rule of 60+ senators, 2) Republicans are breaking the precedent THEY set by blocking a nomination in 2016, 8 months before the election. Now we are enraged and in the great civil war, testing whether that notion or any notion so believed and so delicate, can long endure. Our daily lives have become a great battlefield of that war. Heads hung to dedicate a portion of our day to honor the passing of that child who lived her life so that this notion might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
