I think it was a piece of rope to pull down the garage door in the stall. Probably some years ago a crew member was like a man why don’t we tie a circle on this rope so our hands don’t slip when pulling this rope to close the garage door. I have a hard time believing that the people mad there WASN’T a hate crime committed aren’t racist. I don’t know how you could be mad about this news.

Obviously it’s amazing that NASCAR (the officials/teams/owners/drivers, all of NASCAR) responded the way they did to the idea of one of their drivers, their only black driver, being the target of racism. That’s obviously a great thing and it shows the world that NASCAR is fully committed to moving forward.
