Secondly, he is so desperate to try to articulate his dogma, and he knows he isn’t effective personally, he resorts to homemade movies. Third and finally reporters weren’t cowed into submission and hit him hard about his colossal failure of leadership and lies. I’ve been thinking of ways to reframe Trump’s actions that could show people that may support him just how patently ridiculous his behavior is. I think I’ve settled on asking people to, instead of Trump, imagine their child or an employee they are responsible for (or whose work they rely on in order to do THEIR job) doing or saying the things he says or does. For the life of me, I cant understand how he can live that down. That is a lying 6th grader’s response to their mom coming home and asking if they did their chores or homework over the weekend.
