Many people (including me) know this, but logic doesn’t really help. It is clear that you don’t suffer from this because you don’t know that there is a voice inside your head that you can’t silent, and no matter how much logic you give, it will still say “yeah, but what if…”. Not to mention the times when you don’t even know what makes you anxious about that even, you just are and feel overwhelmed by all that anxiety
They’ll give advice that makes sense to them from an outsider perspective like “it’s just in your head”, “stop worrying so much”, and “you’re just being self-centered” but it counts for jackshit because conditions like anxiety and depression aren’t things you can easily turn off rationally.
