Totally agree. That was easily the performance of his career, I wish he would do more serious acting but I read that he’s happy making those trash movies because he gets paid to basically hang out with his friends and not really do anything. I kind of respect the hustle I mean if you make it to the point of your career where you are getting paid millions to essentially go on vacation to exotic locations with your buddies, why the hell wouldn’t you do that?

Playing a gruff, stoic character and making them more than a 2-dimensional, one-note cliche is really hard. He did a really good job of revealing what Geralt was thinking or feeling but making it look like it was unintentional. He also managed to be really funny which is also hard to do with such a stoic character. I’ve never personally found him attractive before, but apparently dirty greasy Henry Cavill.
