You mentioned airports, while we might be an island, we’re home to one of the busiest international airports in the world, and a number of the busiest in Europe, as well as one of the busiest ports in the world.Again I’m not trying to denigrate New Zealand or praise the UK’s response, I’m just tired of people marking completely baseless comparisons as a stick to beat Britain with, there’s plenty of other more constructive criticisms that can be made
You do know it’s easier to control 4 million people than just under 70 million belligerent entitled aresholes? You do know the UK is a hub for air traffic (in transit) and freight and prior to Covid had one of the busiest airports in the world? You do realise that until the UK leaves the transition period we still have to abide by freedom of movement rules. You do know London, as a city, has twice the population of NZ, so give it a rest with the density crap.
