I’m a big fan of nachos and this is a requirement for me. Is it one of those nachos where cheese is a topping and not a star? Nah, I want chips, cheese, meat, and beans in that order. Or maybe they use queso Blanco instead of a cheddar blend, hard pass. I like a little crumbled on top, but it can’t be the cheese. These are all things they don’t mention in the description but make a big difference.

Its perfectly fine to eat poorly sourced and poorly prepared food in a less than stellar environment if that’s what you want. The snobs who say things like “don’t eat at places with pictures on their menu” are 99% of the time just assholes who repeat what they heard Anthony Bourdain say 8 years ago without understanding why.
