We are problem fixers, if you come to me upset, I will ask you what’s wrong and then try and fix the problem. The thing broke, man sad, man fix broke thing, now man happy. I know sometimes you just want someone to rant to but you’ve got to give me a heads up because otherwise, I’m gonna be trying to figuring out how to fix the problem that doesn’t exist. Personally, it’s all about the money; back when I was the sole income of our house if she got mad at me about not doing this chore or that chore when she wanted it done she would automatically say “you need to pull your weight around with the chores” and I would say “lady, we wouldn’t be living in this house if I wasn’t pulling my weight by working 12 hours a day to make ends meet, besides I pay the cleaning lady to come once a week, just tell her to do it” and she would go batshit insane by saying how it wasn’t all about money; she seemed not to understand how HARD it is to actually earn it and how much harder it is to spend it all without even saving for my retirement while helping her get out of her fellowship (did so gladly and never mention it however it just flew over her head why on sunday, my only free day of the week, I didn’t want to move a finger); thankfully the problem solved itself when she started working and earning her own money.
