Never Underestimate A Stoner Who Survived 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic Shirt

I’m a teacher now. I influence and help 24 students a year. I love my career and I know I’m making a difference in lots and lots of lives. If I had not had an abortion at 19 when I stupidly got pregnant, I know I would not have been able to go to college, become a teacher, none of it. I’m very grateful for abortion saving my life and making it possible for me to go on to help hundreds of children in my classroom through the years. I am grateful to be alive but the fact is my mother would have been better off aborting any and all children she had with my dad. Or until she got help with her own needs.

I am adopted. My biological mother was a teenager. I was told by my very Catholic family that adoption is a better option than abortion and I am lucky to be where I am today. And that is true. But at the same time, I am extremely grateful that my biological mother had the choice to do what she did rather than being forced into it. Also pregnancy and birth for the woman are not without their risks. My friend almost died giving birth and she desperately wanted her baby. Her pregnancy was high risk, required her to be on bed rest, multiple visits to the ER, and the birth was downright traumatic. People seem to gloss over this aspect when talking about adoption.
