Trying to describe him is hard because he was so many things to so many people. At his funeral, we asked our neighbor S to talk about dad because they were close. S told the story of how, after S’s accident, they had a machine they needed to put together to help S stand-up for his recovery. The family was in the garage struggling to put the pieces together and finally, their youngest boy brought dad over to help.
