I spent most of the quarantine in Portland, Oregon. If you watch the news, Portland is a lawless wasteland. My parents live in a neighborhood adjacent to downtown. I can see downtown from the window. You wouldn’t have any idea there were protests unless you went to one.

I lived in Downtown Athens, Greece in 2015 when there were supposedly horrible protests. Yes- there were some protests, but they were never as large as what was portrayed in the media, and never did I feel unsafe. The media needs its rating drama.
