As in should have he stopped attacking his opponents and started attacking Trump? In retrospect, I think it was a mistake for the berniesphere to hammer the “joe is in cognitive decline” leading up to the debate because it really lowered expectations for Biden. Biden wasn’t flawless but he was competent for the most part, and after a week of “he has dementia” he ended up looking presidential. That’s not what tipped these states in Biden’s favor but it didn’t hurt.
