Literally went to apply for a new job last night and the fine print said “At any time, the Company has the right to terminate the Employee for any reason.” And you had to agree to the terms before applying. But yet, they expect me to give them a 2 weeks notice. In my state, they don’t even need to disclose that. It’s literally the law. It is a right to work state.
Yep, I lost my job a couple of months into the pandemic. I still have a buddy that works there. He said the boss said “I don’t know if JJ is just a sickly person but he probably missed the most days sick of anyone” I worked there for 14 months. The only sick leave I took was to quarantine while I waited on my COVID test results.
