Oh, me and a friend, age 10 once built a kid-size robot costume from a long box. We wanted to test it out and another buddy just happened to walk by my house. We offered him the chance to test our invention and he was happy to do it. Little did he know, we did not think to cut out space for his knees nor arms to bend, so he ended up falling like a log faceplanting the cement. I love boxes.

I started making swords and shields for my kids as a way to connect them to stories they are partaking in. I made a master sword and shield for my daughter. She’s playing wind walker right now. I made a sting for my son while reading the Hobbit. We’re now reading LOTR.
