Nobody was mad at it when it came out. The only people I’ve EVER seen get mad at this movie are a bunch of younger kids on twitter and that’s likely because they’ve never seen it. Even then, most criticisms get shut down pretty damn quick. And when it came out, most people were mad about the simple jack character anyways lmao. Bimbo disappeared after the Hays Code went into effect. Betty’s main love interest became Fearless Fred. How the fuck is all of this true wtf (yes I looked it up) each reply is more accurate than the last.

She was only a French poodle for the first year or so and then by she became permanently established as a human girl. She’s been human a lot longer than she’s been a dog. It’s only in the earliest cartoons that you see her with dog ears and a black circle for a nose. The iconic version of her has hoop earrings and a little u-shaped nose. They’re hoop earrings. She was originally a dog with floppy ears, but they turned her into a human and the ears became hoop earrings.
