Never went to Shadow Pines. The years I was in school we went to a camp that had a terrible field full of holes. Can’t remember the name, though. Surprised half of us didn’t break our ankles. The ground was so bad, we had to re-teach people how to march when we got back home. Oh man, good times.

She is referencing Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp specifically in the movie. And it was a hot mess for teenagers getting it on – usually in the piano practice huts or the Grease Pit. Thank god we didn’t have cell phones or cameras. Live in camps are much more commonplace in the US than anywhere else I know of, but running 1 week or 2 weeks non live in school holiday programs is pretty common.
