Omg, there’s such a coffee circle jerk down here. I’ll go ahead and say it. Poop regulation is an unwanted side effect. Just give me zoomy bean juice. Even if it tastes bad. I love coffee, I have hundreds of dollars worth of equipment and search for beans I like to hand grind. But that’s what it takes to make coffee taste good. Which means it doesn’t in the first place. This is not an unpopular opinion. Unless your getting fresh coffee (expense isn’t usually the issue with taste to smell disparity, it’s freshness) prepared well (sorry you eyeballing some spoons of coffee that’s being tossed into your dirty $10 Mr coffee isn’t ever going to turn out perfect) it’s going to smell more “like coffee” then taste.
