That shouldn’t surprise me. I’m not anti-gun, but I choose not to have one in my house for personal reasons. I literally have considered if I wouldn’t be better off with one in case things get really bad Gun rights has become a far more popular stance on the left in the last year or so. Having a President ordering illegal military occupations of liberal cities and violent suppression of peaceful protests will tend to do that.

I’ve heard it said many times that if you go far enough to the left, you get your guns back. No offense to you for your take on guns, they are dangerous and I won’t fault you for your decision not to own one. But I also believe in self-defense as a human right, and that it’s kind of arrogant for a society to pawn off their defense on others, especially Modern law enforcement.
