The situation runs deeper then just movies though, Depp is just another man who gets called an abuser when in reality he is the victim. I will not see Fantastic Beast due to this decision. I will not see Aquaman 2 or any movie staring Ar ear. However, I will pay to see anything staring Johnny Depp at least half a dozen times and will literally pay studios out of pocket for casting him.

He did a great job with what he had to work with Kaecilius, but that character was never going to be a Loki or Thanos, or even a Killmonger. He was a glorified henchman. Mikkelsen deserves starring roles, not box-checking. I’m still pissed with how bland and straightforward his Rogue One character was, Mikkelsen in Star Wars should either be a Jedi general or a Sith Lord, not Daddy McGuffin.
