The very fact we need a serious tag is a farse. I’m all for jokes, but I come to Reddit to dredge through the filth and find the rare thought out answers or interesting facts, like someone rambling on about how to correctly dig a hole without doing your back in. That’s the good stuff. I only keep coming back because for every hundred “show me your tits, for science” trash comments, there’s one actually interesting comment that I feel has taught me something and benefited my life.

Reddit was not the best place to ask this question. I’d wager that only a small percentage of Redditors are Black. I’d wager that only a tiny percentage of Redditors are police officers. Finding a Black police officer is hard enough. Finding a Black police officer on Reddit, who will see the question and wants to respond is really being hopeful. Like wishing on a star. Might happen. We’ll see.
