Smart guy. He gets it, knows how to say it, and knows where and when to say it too. Not that you can’t say such things anywhere else at other times but mostly it’ll either fall on deaf ears or just circlejerk (or cause a petty argument in a bar). I say this because every community literally everywhere needs someone to stand up like this and make these points and ask such questions in every democracy no matter what the subject or where they may be. Many or most of us don’t have the confidence to do that but I like seeing someone who does have such a capability in action.
This information age is something else. An age where the common man and woman common, from all corners of the world, can finally connect and share their own stories and experiences. I think, and hope, we will eventually see the extinction of ruling classes throughout the world and more focus on improving the human experience for all. Cities, in general, seem to fall into a corrupt sort of pattern. Rich people have no reason to be around poor communities to spend money there, so the root of the problem IMO would be preventing crime. But how to do this? Minneapolis has a very failed case study in eliminating the police.
