To me, this is an activity you always do alone, and you do it in a time frame to fit in another activity you enjoy. Your girlfriend has never expressed any interest in joining you, and only decided to join you in the morning without giving you or herself adequate preparation. It seems pretty reasonable to me that you’d be pissed off by that, and at least you actually waited for her in the car rather than abandoning her completely.
