I was like 14-15 (my mom drove me and a friend so had to be young), saw it the first weekend, and 100% thought it was real. I had never seen a movie shot like that so seemed legit to me. The only thing I saw for the movie ahead of time was a special on how it was really on the sci-fi channel. I also didn’t realize that you could say something was real and it is not real.
