His net worth is reported to be around $3 million. Many people in his life contributed to the (horrifically) bad decisions and legal issues that lost him the $400ish million he earned as a fighter. He had to declare bankruptcy, then bounced back and now has legitimately good people in his life. Unfortunately, though, he can’t swing 6 figure purchases trivially, yet. I hope he earns it all back and then some. Good point. I guess we can hope that this resort goes well and he makes enough money for the acres. This man NEEDS the 8 acres. If you watch his documentary you’ll see him break down in tears when he speaks about his wealth and the way his ‘friends’ treated him.
I also think there will be many struggles as well, but if 1 store in Vegas can take over 25% to 45% of the market share especially at the start, I could see a “Hard Rock Café” type business. Another point from where I live in the Smokey Mountains, we see tourist show up at “Smokey Mountain Moonshine”, which has glass observation areas of the distillery process, and those mother fuckers make bank. There have been to many similarities I have witnessed personally of successful businesses, I am all in. Planet 13 and Altira are my only weed plays, and I try to add monthly. Reading all of the 1-star google reviews was eye-opening for me in terms of my concern for their ability to be successful in different markets. It just seems like their business model will be a Las Vegas fit so I’m cautious about assuming their success in Vegas translates to the Smokey Mountains.
